What is it?

Comments are an opportunity for Viewers and Contributors to leave behind their thoughts about a picture (in Gallery), a Blog entry (in Blog), or an Event (in Calendar). You control who leaves comments by turning the feature on or off.

  • If you turn comments on: Anyone, either viewer or contributor, can make comments in your journal.
  • If you turn comments off: You, your viewers or contributors will not be able to make comments.
How Do I Get There?

To Turn Comments On:

  • Press Settings on the Journal Title bar.
  • Click the Comments link.
Tips and How To's

Turning Comments On

  1. Press Settings on the Journal Title bar.
  2. Click the Comments link to open the Comments page.
  3. Select Comments On to activate Comments throughout your Journal.
  4. Press Save.

Turning Comments Off

  1. Press Settings on the Journal Title bar.
  2. Click the Comments link to open the Comments page.
  3. Select Comments Off:.
  4. Press Save.
  5. Comments will no longer appear throughout your Journal.

Adding Comments

Tip:    Roll your mouse over the icon to view the contributor's name and a sample of their comment.

Comments can be added and viewed in Blog Entries, individual media files in the Gallery or individual Events in the Calendar.

  1. Click the Add Comment link to open the Add a comment: section.
  2. Type your Name.
  3. Type your Email address (required).
  4. Type a Comment in the textbox.
  5. Press Add Comment to publish your comment.
Tip:    Although your name and email address are required to log a comment, only your name will appear after the Comment is published. Your email address will remain private.
