Boomerang Bash at Gary's part 2
More random thoughts about the weekend: The response to the photos I uploaded to Webshots has been unbelievable. In less than 24 hours I had 1250 hits in that album. I think I only have 2600 for the photos from my summer trip to Garys and that is in 6 months of viewing time. Wow!

I went with a list of things to photograph and never got to do it. When at Gary's you kinda go with the flow. We got into talking, making and throwing and time just slipped away. Also, Gary has so many boomerangs some are hard to locate on short notice. He had the Michael Jordan one in the shop as Mikey had a broken ankle. I layed the pieces close and grabbed a shot. I had a 1GB card in my camera which meant about 650 available photos. I took 75 and many of those in the shop. I guess shop time was important to me. So was spending time with Bill Rusky and learning a lot about UHB's. Spending time with John and Kyle Fantone was valuable as Kyle got a real spark in his boomerangs interest and Gary's encouragement may have him off and running.
I have learned that a visit to Gary's is very unstructured. My wife goes along and we often don't know what's up until it happens. When we went into production mode at times it was a real whirlwind of activity. It was fun. I guess I'll have to plan to take more photos another time. Then again, that probably won't happen either as we'll be pulled in several directions at once.
For those who looked at the photos, there is one of a Christmas tree decorated with Janetzki boomerangs. Fred renamed it the "Janetz-tree". Then he removed one of the boomerangs and it became a "Less Janetz-tree". Dr Fred was promptly flogged for the bad puns. That didn't help much.....
For the uninitiated, The Janetzkis are Les and Arthur Janetzki
